This premium aftermarket door weatherstrip is manufactured from durable EPDM rubber with integrated steel reinforcement and flocked finish. The reinforced construction helps the seal maintain a secure grip around the door aperture while providing flexibility and resistance to everyday automotive conditions.
Compared with some lower-cost PVC alternatives, the EPDM and steel-reinforced construction is designed to provide improved durability and long-term performance.
This product has been designed and developed as an aftermarket replacement and may have some design or material differences compared with the original seal. Each item is brand new and supplied in its original packaging.
Before installation, ensure that the application surface is clean and free from oil, dust, dirt and debris. A clean and smooth surface helps the weatherstrip sit correctly and can improve its long-term performance.
For the best results, compare the profile and fitting position with the existing seal before installation. The weatherstrip may need to be shortened after it has been fitted correctly to the door aperture.
When trimming the seal, suitable hand pruners or heavy-duty cutters can be used. Do not cut the seal before positioning it, as this can result in an incorrect final length.
