📦 SHIPPING POLICY

Genuine Motors

1. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH

All orders are processed within 1 working day.

• Orders placed before 1:00 PM (GMT) are typically processed the same working day
• Orders placed after this time, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day
• Orders are usually collected by couriers at approximately 3:00 PM (GMT)

Please note that same-day dispatch is not guaranteed.

We dispatch most orders from our UK warehouse:

In some cases, orders may be fulfilled from our global warehouse depending on stock availability.

2. UK SHIPPING

🇬🇧 UK Mainland (Next Working Day)

• Typically shipped via DPD Next-Day Service
• Estimated delivery: Next working day
• Cut-off time: 1:00 PM (GMT)

DPD does not guarantee next-day delivery.

Non-Mainland Exceptions

The following postcode areas are not covered by DPD next-day service and will be treated as Non-Mainland:

AB36–38, AB55–56, FK17–21, IV1–39, IV52–54, IV63, KW1–14, PA21–40, PH19–26, PH30–41, PH49–50, HS1–9, IV40–51, IV55–56, KA27–28, KW15–17, PA20, PA41–49, PA60–78, PH42–44, ZE1–3

🇬🇧 UK Non-Mainland

Includes:
Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Northern Ireland, and excluded postcode areas.

• Estimated delivery: 2–3 working days
• Typically shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48

Depending on parcel weight and dimensions, alternative couriers may be used, including Evri, DHL Parcel UK, ParcelForce, or Yodel.

3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS & RATES

We ship to a wide range of international destinations. However, shipping availability, courier options, and delivery rates may vary depending on:

• Destination country
• Parcel weight and dimensions
• Courier service availability
• Customs or regulatory restrictions

👉 The most accurate shipping options, delivery estimates, and rates are always displayed at checkout.

By entering your full delivery address at checkout, you will be able to view:

• Available shipping methods
• Estimated delivery timeframes
• Final shipping costs

Please note:

• Shipping charges are calculated dynamically based on weight, size, and destination
• Not all shipping methods are available for every location
• We reserve the right to add or remove shipping destinations without prior notice

If your location is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We primarily use DHL Commerce for international shipments, but may also use:

• DPD
• DHL Express
• FedEx
• UPS
• Royal Mail
• Evri

The courier is automatically selected based on destination, parcel weight, and service efficiency.
We are unable to accommodate specific courier requests.

Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to make any changes to the delivery address.

5. DELIVERY TIME ESTIMATES

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Typical delivery ranges:

• UK Mainland: 1 working day
• UK Non-Mainland: 2–3 working days
• Europe: 3–7 working days
• North America: 3–7 working days
• Rest of World: 5–10 working days

Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

• Customs clearance procedures
• Weather conditions
• Transport disruptions
• Peak seasonal demand
• Other unforeseen circumstances

6. VAT, DUTIES & TAXES

VAT and import duties may apply depending on the destination country.

• For some destinations, duties and taxes may be included in the shipping cost at checkout
• For other destinations, charges may be payable upon arrival

👉 Any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees will be clearly indicated at checkout where possible.

If charges are not collected at checkout, the customer is responsible for paying them directly to the courier or customs authority.

We do not have control over these charges and cannot guarantee their amount.

7. TRACKING INFORMATION

• Tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched
• Due to courier processing and customs handling, tracking updates may take 1–2 working days to activate

8. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including:

• Full address
• Valid mobile number
• Email address

Couriers may:

• Attempt delivery to the provided address
• Redirect parcels to a pickup/collection point if delivery is unsuccessful

Customers must collect parcels within the specified timeframe set by the courier.

Failure to do so may result in the parcel being returned to us.

9. FAILED DELIVERY & INCORRECT ADDRESS

If delivery fails due to incorrect, incomplete, or missing address details:

• The parcel will typically be returned to us
• A refund will be issued for the item value only
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable
• Return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund

We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

10. LOST OR DELAYED PARCELS

If your parcel has not moved in transit for 7 working days, please contact us.

We will initiate an investigation with the courier. In such cases:

• A claim process may be required
• Customers may need to complete a claim form

Where appropriate, we may offer:

• A replacement order, or
• A full refund

11. CANCELLATIONS

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.

• Cut-off time: 1:00 PM (GMT)
• Orders are typically collected by couriers at 3:00 PM (GMT)

If your order has already been collected by the courier:

• Cancellation is no longer possible
• You may refuse delivery or fail to collect the parcel

Refunds (excluding shipping costs) will be processed once the parcel is returned to us.

Please note that the return process may take up to 30 days.

12. IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Shipping availability, methods, and costs displayed at checkout override any general information provided in this policy
• We are unable to modify delivery details after dispatch
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
• Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue is caused by us
